Hundreds of people utilize the quiet pathways daily and visitors quickly discover it's a great place for bird watching, seeing many species of wildflowers (in season) and native wildlife.

Other features include fishing piers, adult exercise stations, picnic areas, and three bridges including an historic steel suspension bridge.
